Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road was amazing!! It took us over 8 hours to get to the end (12 Apostles) but every bit of it was beautiful. It takes you along the beach, up the mountain, through lots of small beach towns, and even through rain forest. We made lots of stops along the way. One being Bells Beach to watch the surfers (famous Australian beach and the setting of the movie 'Point Blank'). We had lunch at a café and across the street were a bunch of cockatoos. It was a very cool experience feeding them and having them jump on your arm or shoulder (until a couple got too aggressive and scratched Hudson and Ashton).  One of our favorite stops was just a small beach/rock area only visible because it was low tide. We climbed on rocks and the kids (mostly Ash) even waded in the water (it was freezing!).

Sign says 'keep left in Australia', a little too late if you didn't already know that...
