Cross Country Carnival

Hudson's school had their Cross Country Carnival today. It was 2 laps inside the oval (comparable to a football field but in the shape of an oval) and 2 outside. I think he finished about in the middle of the pack and said he only walked a little. So proud of him!!

A Few Extras From WA

This trip was fantastic!! Everyone knows I was a huge skeptic of the campervan, but I turned out loving it! Western Australia is so beautiful and so very untouched! It really shocked me at how desolate it really is! Some friends warned us how behind the times it is out here, and they were right! From very limited cell service to old gas pumps straight out of the 70's (yes, you had to go in to pay). But it was all a great, once in a lifetime experience for us!! Through ups and downs, we made memories through it all!

The Pink Lake & Leaning Trees

Later in the day we saw the Leaning Trees and the Pink Lake. The lake wasn't as pink as we were hoping for but at certain angles you could definitely catch a pink hue. The pink is caused by a certain algae in the lake. Both were very unique sights and cool sights!!

Cliffs, Island Rock & Natures Bridge

The Australian coastal cliffs are just so gorgeous! It was a long hot walk with lots of flies, but definitely worth it! The rock out by itself a little is Island Rock and the rock with the gap is Natures Bridge.
