Saying Goodbye

 Saying goodbye is so hard! The kids had their very last day of school today. Each of their classes sent them out with a bang! Sienna's class actually had a field trip to a farm today too (Doug went along) but before that they threw a party. There was cupcakes, gifts, hugs and more hugs! Hudson's class also threw him a party. They read Alexander And the Terrible.... (it makes a few references to Australia), had popsicles, did Australian facts, and gave gifts. Hudson's gift was a photobook of everyone and they all signed it and Sienna got a giant Beanie Boo penguin and a framed picture of her class. We gave the classes each an Australian book and a goodbye poem (it was so hard not to get choked up during the reading of this!). The hardest part came at the end when Mrs. LaBrash caught us in the hallway to say goodbye (love her!). Sienna and Hannah exchanging gifts and saying goodbye in the parking lot was tough too!  We are going to miss ESM and the teachers, parents and kids!!
