Too Little for This...

 This is definitely not a typical Halloween for us. But Ash is definitely doing better. This morning I came in to this semi smiling face, which is much better than yesterday. It still breaks my heart to see him in this hospital bed but at least he has all of his wires out and is sitting up playing. Doug and I had about 2 hours training on how to check his blood sugar and how to give his injections and a crash course on diabetes in general. Then we met with the nutritionist to go over his diet. It was a lot to take in! And it was one of the worst experiences having to give your kid a shot while he screamed and cried...
