Horseback Riding & Home

 This was possibly the worst idea ever. While the scenery was absolutely breathtaking (words cannot describe how beautiful), the horseback riding was terrifying! I may have even cried at one point I was so scared. Despite the few rough patches, we had a great time enjoying each others company this weekend!

The Beach

 We took a much more relaxing approach today and just hit the beach! Of course, Doug cannot just sit still, so he did a little snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding.

Dolphin Watching

 Today Doug talked me into going on a dolphin watching cruise. In theory, it sounds amazing, but you add in rough seas, rain and seasickness, and it's not so fun! But I made it through, and have to say, seeing the dolphins was pretty cool!

Port Stephens or Bust

 Doug and I hopped in the car and headed a few hours up the coast to Port Stephens for a weekend getaway! We are looking forward to sleeping in, horseback riding, dolphin watching, and nice dinners out! And we are definitely not going to let a little car trouble on the way up get us down!

Birthday at the Beach

 My first ever birthday at the beach! We spent it with Tonje and her kiddos soaking up the sun and looking for shells!

Powerhouse Museum

The kids were super excited to check out the superhero Lego exhibit at the powerhouse Museum. And it did not disappoint!! We were all pretty impressed by the Lego displays! And at the end we got to play around with Legos and make our own creations.
