Playdate

We just had a crazy, loud, but super fun playdate with the Bible boys and Elliot! Catch up time for the moms and playtime for the kiddos! We need all the friend time we can get before we leave...

Professional Pictures

 I decided to try taking the kids to a professional photographer, but it did not go as well as I had hoped.... Jonah really did not cooperate most of the time! He did not want to get his picture taken and he refused to walk in the long grass once we were outside (where the best lighting and good back drop were). The older three were as good as could be though! So we did end up with a couple of good ones.

Jonah's First Haircut

 Jonah had his first haircut today. I was on the fence about getting him one. The hair in front was in his eyes but we didn't want to loose the one curl he has in the back. So the end result was a sort of rat tail... but he is so cute that he totally can pull it off! He started off doing great, all smiles. Then, and I really have no idea what happened, things went south and there were lots of tears! Poor kid, but a few uneven spots later, and he looks as handsome as ever!

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is a favorite day for the kids and grandparents alike!

Showering Carrie

 My friend, Carrie, is due in November with her third little one! I loved seeing her cute little baby bump and catching up with her (because, of course, it had been too long since we'd last seen each other!). Congrats Carrie, Kyle, Aubrey, and Leighton on your newest bundle!

Annual Fall Party

 Another great fall party at mom and dads! Hay rides, bonfire, candy, and chilli!!

BFF Sleepover!!!

 These two cuties just can't get enough of each other!! We had to fit in more quality time with Hannah before we leave, and what's better than a sleepover? Even Ash is a bit smitten with Hannah (he HAD to sit by her at dinner, and note the big happy grin on his face).

Field Trip to the Zoo!!

 Sienna's class had a field trip to the zoo today and I'm so glad I could be a part of it. It wasn't just a regular zoo trip though. They were there to do research for their science fair project. Sienna and another classmate, Ashlyn, were assigned to learn everything they could about the African Penguin! After the hard stuff was done, of course there was time to play!

Star of the Week

 Ashton was the Star of the Week this week for his birthday! We always love celebrating this little star!

It's Carnival Time

 It's carnival time at ESM! This year was a little different because I was in charge of the festivities! It was a lot of work but worth it in the end to see everyone having fun! I remember going to the carnival when I was at ESM and it was by far my favorite event. I can only hope my kids enjoy it as much as I did!!
