Behind the Scenes at U of M

Our Michigan weekend continues with a tour of the stadium and watching the game with other EMBA families. A little weird being on this campus, cheering for this team, being behind the scenes of this school (as opposed to ND or Purdue) but it really was fun and a great event!

Big Kids on Campus

While Doug was in class all day the kiddos and I hung out on the U of M campus. It was a chilly day but the campus was beautiful with all of different colors of leaves. And of course, the kids had fun playing in them!

Michigan Bound

On our way up to Ann Arbor for a school weekend with Doug we made a quick stop. He wanted to show us this giant store called Cabellas. It's a hunting, fishing, camping, etc. store with lots of stuffed wildlife and a mountain in the middle of the store. The kids loved it!

6 Months Old

Our little boy is 6 months old today!! He's getting so big in a hurry! He's really working on trying to sit up and he loves playing with toys! Actually, he loves anything he can get his quick little hands on! Nothing is safe near him! He is still as smiley as ever and he's growing some great peach fuzz! His hands are still always in his mouth and his body is always wiggling! We love when he puts his little arms around our necks and holds on, almost in a little baby hug! Everyone loves the Meme Nonah!

China

Doug was in China for 10 days through his EMBA program. He and his team are doing a project for a Chinese company, Impro, that makes parts for boats. They were in a small town for most of the trip, but did spend a few days in Shanghai. They also didn't have a lot of time for sight seeing (hence the severe lack of pictures...) but I think he enjoyed it! He talked most about the terrible food! He also was amazed by the chaotic driving! He brought home lots of goodies for us (IPads, toys, clothes, headphones, etc. and all for super cheap!).

Carnival Time

This was my first school carnival since I was an 8th grader so many years ago! I strapped Jonah in the Ergo and we were ready for some fun! I had to help work the cake walk station first then we hit the games! Sienna found her bestie Hannah and Huddy had fun hanging with his friend, Elliot. Bounce houses, games, prizes and friends! What a fun night!! Too bad Papa had to miss it!

Housewarming at the Mitchell's

Our friends, Trisha and Josh, had a party at their new house! It was great to catch up with everyone, some I hadn't seen in a long time! Cheers to good friends and congrats on the new house, Mitchell's!

Team Bobby

Ashton, Jonah and I did a walk today for organ donors. We were honored to be a part of Team Bobby and to be able to walk with his family.

Cub Scout Camping

Doug took the kids camping at Chain O Lakes with Hudson's Boy Scout Troop. They had so much fun, despite that freezing windy weather! They went hiking, had a campfire and slept in a tent! They can't wait to go again, and next time they want to bring the rest of the family... We'll see about that:)
