Tonight we went with Joe, Katie and Isabelle to our first Tincaps game of the summer! They couldn't pull out a win but we had a great time hanging out!

The kids started Parks & Rec tball tonight. The first night was a little rough for Sienna, but mommy caught on and bribed her with cupcakes the next few nights.... She's been playing like a pro since then.... And of course Hudson is having fun and doing a great job!

Today my dad had to say goodbye to his best friend.... Otis showed up on our back porch when we needed him most, exactly 1 week after we put our old dog to sleep. He was a beloved member of our family for 12 years. He will be greatly missed, from his loud seal bark to his cute puppy face.....

Happy 9th!

Amidst all of the craziness of no power and living at my parents, Doug & I celebrated our 9th anniversary! Unfortunately, I forgot it, but he surprised me with a card and roses. Hopefully he can forgive me for forgetting, which I am blaming on pregnancy brain:) Thanks love, for nine great years!!

Power's Out....

We had a bad storm this past weekend that knocked out power to almost all of Fort Wayne. Fortunately, we were at the lake when it all hit. Unfortunately, when we came home, we still didn't have power! We were out for about 5 days, lost all of our food in the fridge, and had to crash at my parents house for a few nights. Thankful though that we had no serious damage to trees or our house and that we had a place to escape to with AC (temps were in the triple digits!)!
