Kate's Kart

 We have started a tradition that when the kids have birthday parties with their friends, they pick a charity and have everyone bring in donations in lieu of gifts. Sienna chose to have her friends bring books to donate to Kate's Kart. We took them in today and she helped put the labels on them. This is such a great little organization and one that is close to us. Ashton has received books from Kate's Kart once when he was in the ER for croup and again when he was in the hospital when he was first diagnosed. When I first listed Kate's Kart as an option, Sienna had no idea what it was. When I told her that it helped Ashy when he was in the hospital, she immediately wanted to give back to them!

Happy Birthday, Beckett

 We celebrated Beckett's 1st birthday down in Indy today. What a beautiful day for a party at the park! And what an awesome park it was! Happy birthday Beckett!!

Fireworks

 It was definitely not a great night for fireworks but the show went on! The rain didn't stop the Meyers, Morgan, Hud and Sis from heading out to watch the fireworks up close. The rest of us stayed behind to try and stay dry but we still had a good view!

Cousins Sleepover

 We had to continue the tradition of a cousin sleepover! Uncle Mike, Morgan, Mackenzie, Sienna, Hudson, Brady, Austin and Declan all crashed upstairs! It was a late night and an early morning but lots of memories were made!!
