Last Weekend in London

The countdown continues.... This was our last weekend in London! We tried, again, to see the Changing of the Guard, but it was cancelled due to rain. Guess we're not meant to see it! We did more shopping, and lots more walking around the city. We stumbled upon the University of Notre Dame in London, heard some bagpipers, and almost ate at Hudson's Restaurant (almost because it's not actually a restaurant, but part of the Sherlock Holmes Museum).

The gaurds came out for a minute, then decided it was too rainy to continue.

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Our flat is very quiet since our visitors left, but we kept busy this weekend checking things off of our Must See Must Do list before we leave in 2 weeks! We climbed the lions in Trafalgar Square, accidentally stumbled upon the London Marathon on our way to the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham (which we found out they were not having that day), and tried to push our way through to Hogwarts via Platform 9 3/4.

Ben in the Big City

This week we had some wonderful visitors, Ben and Lucia. It was a fabulous time, except for the rain, full of lots of sightseeing and joking around. We did some shopping, drank lots of beer(except for me, of course), and toured the city! We did the usuals, like St. Paul's, London Eye, and Picadilly Circus, but we also saw a few new things, like Portobello Market.
Good fish & chips, Ben?
